Description

The Reweaving The Tapestry Retreat (RTTR) is pleased to announce it will provide up to six scholarships (valued at $500 each) to qualified mothers and daughters to help defray the cost of attending the 2009 RTTR Summer Retreat. Each scholarship will allay most of the on-site retreat costs including lodging, meals, and retreat materials. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their travel expenses.

These scholarships are intended to offer assistance to mothers and daughters whose financial circumstances would otherwise make this unique opportunity impossible. The scholarships will be awarded on a per need basis following review of all applications received prior to the application deadline


How to Apply

The intent of this scholarship program is to provide critical support for mothers and daughters who have limited financial resources.

There is not a formal application to fill out and submit. Your application is an email message or Word document per the criteria that follows.

Applications may be submitted by surface mail, fax, or e-mail (preferred). They should address the following issues (which constitute the selection criteria established for the scholarship). Please submit 1 page only!

1. Contact information: name of the applicant, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

2. Financial Hardship Information: tell us a little about your financial circumstance and why this scholarship will help you.

3. Personal statement: briefly describe your interest in attending the retreat and why you think it will benefit your relationship.
